It is divided into three steps, Insight, Explore and Apply where we work on constantly developing a product, service or concept. Each step ends with an evaluation and you decide if you want to continue to next step or stop the process.

Insight:

• Look at general business and market intelligence
• Set initial partnerships and roles
• Make the first requirement specification draft
• Describe common needs and pain points
• Make a general financial analysis and/or business model                                            

The Insight step usually takes 3-9 months

Explore:

• Prepare participating organisations for their part in your innovation
• Advance  business and market intelligence and test commercial viability
• Mutually set requirement specifications
• Connect external expertise, such as legal experts
• Evaluate and decide the best way forward: innovation contest, procurement, project or other model

Apply:

• Make the first pilot and actual tests and try-outs
• Work with deployment and prepare for roll out
• Make adjustments in organisational models and partnerships
• Start to introduce the concept to market
